One Odoo stock ledger behind Shopee, Lazada and your own store.

Every sector has one process that generic ERP handles badly. Overselling on a marketplace because stock synced twenty minutes too late. We start there, because fixing that is what makes the rest of the rollout worth doing.

—— Where it hurts

What usually breaks first.

Where it hurts · 01

The flash sale that sells the same unit three times

Stock syncs to Shopee and Lazada on a schedule — every fifteen minutes, or worse, a nightly CSV upload. During a 9.9 campaign the last unit sells on all three channels before any sync runs. Every forced cancellation costs a seller-rating penalty, and eventually your search ranking on the marketplace.

Where it hurts · 02

Marketplace payouts that never match your orders

The marketplace pays out weekly, net of commission, transaction fees, voucher co-funding and refunds. Finance receives one lump sum against three hundred orders and reconciles the settlement report line by line in Excel. Until that reconciliation is automated, your revenue figure is an estimate.

Where it hurts · 03

One product, five listing codes, wrong stock everywhere

The same physical item is listed solo, as a twin-pack and in a gift bundle, each with its own SKU on each channel. Sell the bundle and nothing decrements the component stock. The count is wrong within a day, and the picker learns to trust the shelf instead of the system.

—— Where you start

Three starting points we see most.

Where you start · 01

From spreadsheets

Orders, stock and costing live in files only one person understands. We move the highest-risk sheet first, so value lands in weeks, not quarters.

Where you start · 02

From a legacy system

The old ERP still runs, but nobody dares change it. We migrate in validated batches while it keeps trading, with a rollback point at every step.

Where you start · 03

Adding a site or a company

Growth broke the single-database assumption. We restructure for multi-company, multi-warehouse and consolidated books without stopping operations.

—— Modules

The modules this sector actually starts with.

  • Website
  • Inventory
  • Sales
  • Marketing Automation

—— How the rollout runs

A sector template, tuned to how you actually work.

  1. Walk the process

We follow one real order end to end — quote to cash, or purchase to pay — before touching a configuration screen.

  2. Configure the sector baseline

The modules this sector starts with go in first, configured against your master data rather than demo records.

  3. Pilot with one team

One site, one team, one month. The pilot decides what scales, and its objections reshape the template before anything else ships.

  4. Scale and hand over

Remaining sites onboard on a fixed rhythm, each with documentation and a trained super-user of its own.

—— FAQ

Questions teams ask about this service.

Can Odoo connect to Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop?

Not out of the box — Odoo core ships no official connector for them. We use proven third-party connector modules or integrate against the marketplace APIs directly, and the written scope names which channels sync, what syncs (orders, stock, prices) and how often. Oversell and cancellation flows get tested before go-live, not after.

Which inventory costing method fits multichannel ecommerce?

Average cost, for most sellers — supplier prices shift too often for standard cost, and FIFO layers add little when stock turns fast. Marketplace commission is not product cost: it books as a selling expense at settlement, so gross margin per SKU stays readable. Importers add landed costs so freight and duty land on the item, not in an overhead account.

Can Odoo issue Thai tax invoices for hundreds of B2C orders a day?

Yes — full or abbreviated tax invoices generate straight from the order, numbered in sequence. e-Tax Invoice & e-Receipt is a separate step: files must be digitally signed and submitted through a Revenue Department-approved channel, which means a service-provider integration. We scope that as its own phase item so the cost is written down before work starts.
