Odoo services · Managed Odoo Hosting

Odoo hosting with backups you can actually restore.

Where your database physically sits decides how fast Odoo feels. For a Bangkok team, a server in Singapore is a different product from one in Frankfurt — and the difference shows up on every page load, all day.

—— Where it hurts

The problems this work actually solves.

Most Odoo performance complaints are hosting problems wearing an Odoo costume. Slow pages, surprise downtime and backups that cannot be restored usually trace back to where and how the server is run — the part we take off your plate.

Slow for everyone, all day

Pages take three seconds, users blame Odoo, and IT blames the internet. In most cases the real culprit is an undersized server in the wrong region, still running default worker settings. Nobody has measured, so everybody guesses.

How we handle itWe measure first — latency from your office, worker and PostgreSQL settings, load at your busiest hour — then fix what the numbers point to.

The server only one person understood

The system was set up by a freelancer or an employee who has since left. Nobody has root access, nobody knows the backup schedule, and the only documentation is a chat thread from two years ago.

How we handle itWe audit the machine, recover control, and write down what we find. From then on, access and configuration live in a document, not in someone's memory.

Updates everyone is afraid to run

There is no staging copy, so every patch would be tested on live users. The safe-feeling choice is to touch nothing, and the system quietly falls years behind on security fixes.

How we handle itManaged hosting includes a staging copy. Patches are tested there first, then applied to production in a scheduled window you know about in advance.

Quotations that land in spam

Odoo sends the quote, the customer never sees it, and sales chases a reply that was never going to come. The cause is almost always mail authentication — SPF, DKIM and DMARC were never configured for the server.

How we handle itWe configure mail authentication as part of setup and monitor deliverability afterwards, so documents from Odoo arrive where they were sent.

A cloud bill that only goes up

The instance was oversized to be safe, old snapshots pile up, and nobody wants to touch a running system. The monthly bill creeps upward with no one able to say what the money buys.

How we handle itWe size from measured usage, clean up what nothing depends on, and review the numbers with you on a schedule — not only when you complain.

—— Learn from other projects

Mistakes we see, and how to avoid them.

Picking the region the provider suggested

Cloud consoles default to US or EU regions, and the choice feels harmless during setup. For a Bangkok team it adds around 200 milliseconds to every single request, forever. We place Thai and SEA teams in Singapore, US operations in US East or West, and Indian teams in Mumbai — before anything else is decided.

Backing up the database and forgetting the filestore

Odoo keeps attachments — every invoice PDF, every product image — in a filestore outside the database. A database-only backup restores a system where every document link is broken. Our backups always capture both, and the scheduled restore test would expose it immediately if they did not.

Running production as the only environment

Without a staging copy, every module update, patch and experiment happens on live users, so nothing ever gets updated. The system ages in place until an upgrade becomes a project of its own. Every hosting plan we run includes staging, because that is the difference between maintenance and gambling.

Leaving the database open to the internet

PostgreSQL reachable from anywhere, the database manager page left enabled, a master password never changed — these are the doors ransomware walks through. We close them on day one: firewalled database, hardened admin endpoints, TLS on every subdomain, and access that is logged.

Assuming someone is watching the disk

A full disk stops PostgreSQL mid-write, and an expired certificate locks users out on a weekend. Both give weeks of warning that nobody was assigned to read. Our monitoring watches disk, memory and certificate expiry, and the alerts go to a person whose job is to act on them.

—— Ways to engage

Three ways to start with us.

Option · 01

Hosting health check

A fixed-scope review of your current Odoo hosting, wherever it runs. You get a written report of what is solid, what is fragile, and what fixing it would cost — with no obligation to move anything to us.

  • Performance, backup and security findings in plain language
  • A live restore test of your existing backups
  • A prioritised fix list you can hand to any provider
Option · 02

Migration to managed hosting

We move your existing Odoo — database, filestore, integrations, mail — onto infrastructure in the right region, then run it month to month. The migration is rehearsed in staging before the real cutover.

  • Rehearsal migration first; cutover in a quiet window you choose
  • Backups, TLS, monitoring and staging included from day one
  • Old system left untouched until you sign off
Option · 03

Hosting rescue

For the bad week: the server is down, the provider is unreachable, or the disk is full and nobody has credentials. We stabilise first and ask commercial questions later.

  • Immediate goal: a running system and a verified backup
  • Access recovered and documented as we go
  • A written account of what failed and what to change

Your implementation partner

A partner, not a licence reseller.

We are not chasing licence volume — we design, build and stay accountable for systems that companies run their operations on. The consultant who scopes your project stays through go-live and the support that follows, and everything we commit to is written into a fixed scope per phase.

—— What done looks like

Outcomes you can verify yourself.

A restore you have watched succeed

Restore tests run on a schedule and the result is reported to you each time. You stop hoping your backups work, because you have seen your own data come back.

Access that survives any departure

Server inventory, credentials and configuration are documented and held where your management can reach them. If we disappeared tomorrow, another competent provider could take over from the documents alone.

Problems announced by us, not your staff

Monitoring is live and the alerts reach a person on our side. When something degrades, the first message about it comes from us, with what we are doing — not from your sales team asking why Odoo is down.

Patches with a paper trail

Security patches land on a published schedule, tested in staging first, with a log of what was applied and when. An auditor — or your next IT manager — can read the history instead of guessing it.

—— How we work

What the engagement looks like.

  1. Right region

Singapore for Thai and SEA teams, US East or West for American operations, Mumbai for India. Latency is a feature.

  2. Backups and restore drills

Nightly encrypted off-site backups, with a scheduled restore into a scratch database to prove they work.

  3. Monitoring

Uptime, response time, disk, memory and certificate expiry, with alerts that reach a human.

—— Why us

What you get that you would not elsewhere.

Why us · 01

Restores are rehearsed

We restore your backup on a schedule and report the result. Most hosting only discovers a broken backup during an emergency.

Why us · 02

Your data stays yours

A full database dump on request, any time, no exit fee. Portability is the point.

Why us · 03

PDPA-aware

Data residency and retention configured with Thailand PDPA and GDPR obligations in mind from the start.

—— Why us

What working with us is actually like.

Odoo-literate operations

We are an Official Odoo Partner, and hosting here is run by the same people who implement Odoo. Workers, cron jobs, the filestore, longpolling — the parts generic hosting companies discover mid-incident are the parts we tune before launch.

No blame loop

When implementer and host are different companies, every incident starts with an argument about whose fault it is. We host what we build and support what we host, so the investigation starts with the problem, not with liability.

Incident updates in your language

Under stress, people read their own language fastest. Status updates come in Thai from the Bangkok office or in English from New York — written natively, not run through a translation step while your system is down.

Three offices, three time zones

Bangkok, New York and Delhi NCR between them cover most of the clock. An alert that fires outside Thai business hours lands in an office that is awake, not in a queue waiting for morning.

What is included is written down

Your plan states in writing what it covers: backup frequency, restore-test schedule, patch windows, monitoring scope. Fixed written scope is how we work in every service, and hosting is no exception.

No licence commission behind our advice

Odoo Community's licence costs $0 and we say so plainly; we host it happily. If Enterprise fits you better, Odoo bills you directly and we never mark it up — so when we recommend an edition, the reason is your requirements, not our margin.

One engineer who knows your stack

The consultant who plans your migration is the one who runs it and the one who answers afterwards — the same continuity we keep from first call through go-live on every project. You never re-explain your setup to a stranger.

Easy to leave, so we work to keep you

A full dump and filestore on request, no exit fee, no contractual lock-in. Retention that depends on service quality instead of switching costs keeps us honest, month after month.

—— Partner tiers, explained

What an Odoo partner tier does and does not tell you.

Odoo ranks partners by certifications held and licence volume sold. A tier signals commitment to the programme — it does not tell you who will actually staff your project. Ask that question of any partner, including us.

Learning Partner

New to the programme, building their first certified consultants and reference projects. Not a red flag — everyone starts here — but ask for hands-on proof.

Where we are

Official Partner

Certified consultants and active delivery. This is where we sit, enrolled through the India programme, delivering from Thailand, the USA and India.

Silver & Gold

Higher tiers earned mainly through licence sales volume and headcount of certified staff. A strong signal of scale — not automatically of fit for your project.

—— Who this is for

Built for your size, not resized for it.

Growing companies (5–100 people)

A 5–100 person company rarely needs complicated infrastructure. It needs one server in the right region, run properly, by someone who notices when something drifts.

  • You have no in-house IT, and the person who set up the current server is gone.
  • Odoo Community on a well-run server covers you, and the licence stays at $0.
  • You want one monthly figure that already includes backups, TLS and monitoring.
  • Your team works from Thailand or SEA, and page speed matters more than architecture diagrams.

Mid-market (100–500 people)

Between 100 and 500 people, the questions change: audit trails, data residency, integration load, and the real cost of an hour of downtime.

  • Month-end close puts enough users on the system that sizing for the busiest day is a hard requirement.
  • Auditors and enterprise customers ask where data physically sits, and the PDPA answer must be in writing.
  • Odoo runs alongside other systems, and the hosting has to carry integration traffic without falling over.
  • Your IT team wants documented access and a named engineer, not a shared inbox.

—— Risks

What usually goes wrong — and how we prevent it.

Risks · 01

Backups nobody has restored

A backup is a hope until it has been restored. We run scheduled restore tests, not just scheduled backups.

Risks · 02

Sized for the quiet days

Month-end close is the real benchmark, not an average Tuesday. We size for your busiest day and scale ahead of growth.

Risks · 03

One disk, one region, one admin

Every single point of failure eventually fails. Redundancy and documented access exist at every layer of our hosting.

—— Pricing

What this costs.

Monthly, scaled to database size and user count. Backups, TLS certificates and monitoring are included rather than sold as add-ons.

—— Editions & hosting

Community, Enterprise, and where it runs.

The licence and the hosting are separate decisions, and both are yours — we implement either edition and hand over whichever infrastructure you choose.

$0 licence

Odoo Community

Open source and free to license. Covers sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing, manufacturing and more. You pay for implementation, not rent.

—— FAQ

Questions teams ask about this service.

How does this compare to Odoo.sh?

Odoo.sh is excellent and we will recommend it when it fits — particularly for Enterprise customers who want the official pipeline. Managed hosting wins when you need a specific region, Community edition, or infrastructure alongside other systems.

Can we move to our own servers later?

Yes. You get the database dump and the filestore, and we will help with the cutover. There is no contractual or technical lock-in.

Who notices if the server goes down at 2 a.m.?

Monitoring does, and it alerts a person, not a dashboard. Because our offices sit in Bangkok, New York and Delhi NCR, an alert outside Thai hours reaches a team that is already working. You get a status message from us in Thai or English, with what we are doing about it.

Do you host Odoo Community?

Yes, and often. The Community licence costs $0, so for many companies the hosting fee is the entire monthly cost of running Odoo. We will not steer you to Enterprise for hosting reasons — if Enterprise fits your requirements, Odoo bills you directly and we add nothing on top.

Can you manage Odoo inside our own cloud account?

Yes. Some clients want the servers in their own AWS or local provider account so billing and ownership stay with them, and we operate inside it. Either way it starts with an audit, and access is documented so you always retain control.

How much downtime does migrating to you involve?

We rehearse the migration into staging first, so problems surface before the real move. The final cutover then runs in a quiet window you choose — for most databases it is a few hours, usually a weekend evening. Your old system stays untouched until you have signed off on the new one.

Will the price jump as our database grows?

Pricing scales with database size and user count, and we tell you before anything changes — a plan move is a conversation, not a new line on an invoice. We also keep databases lean by archiving what Odoo no longer needs hot, which delays the next tier longer than most expect.
